Prevention
At Skye Dental, we believe in prevention rather than cure. That’s why we place emphasis on providing treatment that will stop or slow down problems before they become bigger! We want to give you the best smile with minimal intervention. This includes fissure sealants, prophylaxis, fluoride therapy, and education for our patients.
We utilize digital x-rays, 3D CBCT scans, and high definition cameras to help with diagnosis and detection, as well as planning treatments.

CHILDREN'S DENTISTRY
We are firm believers in having the best start in life. That's why we place so much importance on the dental health of children (our own and yours!). We can see your younger family members to check everything is in the right place and to prevent dental decay.
Let's work together to get the best out of our children, from diet and tooth brushing advice to early orthodontic treatments to prevent future alignment and bite problems. Book to see either Dr. Andrew for general check-ups or Dr May Ling Eide for orthodontic advice.

Braces
Would you like to have straighter teeth? Our orthodontics Doctor, Dr May, can have a look and see how to move the teeth and make them look nicer. Sometimes the teeth are not in a good position for function, so we can move them into better positions to improve the way you bite.

Invisalign
Clear aligners, such as Invisalign, are superior in comfort and appearance to traditional braces. They can be used to treat a wide range of dental problems in patients of all ages. Invisalign First can be suitable for children who require interceptive orthodontic treatment.

restoration
When we aren’t able to help you in time to prevent problems, we can help fix them. We can restore the teeth back to normal function. This often involves rebuilding them with fillings for example, or protecting them with crowns so they last longer.

Gums
Healthy gums and bones are the foundations for healthy teeth. People often have gum disease but are unaware of this. It can be as simple as bleeding gums or a more serious issue, such as shaky teeth. Our dentists are experts at identifying what you cannot see, then treating this so the gums remain healthy.

Root Canal
Dental pain or infection is often associated with the nerves in the teeth. Removing the nerve from the tooth, cleaning the insides of it, and then filling it can usually resolve this. It is a highly intricate procedure done with specialist equipment to achieve great outcomes.

Implants
Do you have one or more missing teeth? Implants can be the ideal solution for this. We can restore function and cosmetics back to you, using our titanium dental implants. They are inserted and allowed to integrate with your jawbone, before placing a crown to fill the gap of the missing tooth or teeth.

Emergencies
Dental pain and dental emergencies are never expected, and we understand this. When a problem arises, do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to alleviate your pain, even if it means staying late or re-arranging appointments.

Surgery
Sometimes we have broken teeth or teeth that cause problems (impacted wisdom teeth) and these may require extraction. If the extraction is difficult, the dentist may need to do minor surgery to remove it.

Veneers
When the teeth don’t quite look how you want them to, maybe they are discoloured, maybe they are not straight, maybe they are the wrong size? You might be able to change these quickly and achieve a better smile with porcelain veneers.
